I imagine life as traveling on roads. Everyone has their own road to travel. We are given roads and we can take roads. There are different kinds from dirt roads to paved roads. You can start on one road and end on another. It can be uphill, level, or downhill. Roads can be different and have different reasons for being there. Some are built and some are demolished. Some are smooth and others are rough. Some have no obstacles while others have too many. Some roads are crowded, and others are lonely. There can be many roads and there can be very little as well. Each one comes with risk. Roads end but they can also intersect, and people can cross paths during travel. Some stay on the same road and others will change. Some are crawling to their destination and others are flying by. Sometimes we pick someone up or sometimes we need a lift. We may need to drop them off or they may do it instead. It might be along the way or out of the way. We may leave some of our baggage after a ride and sometimes others leave their baggage. Sometimes the baggage is lost along the way, or more is gained. We stop, cruise, slow down, speed up, race, make turns, take detours, breakdown, have accidents, get lost, turn around and more. Find a destination and take the roads that lead you there. Do not take them out of anger, spite, fear, and hate. You will find yourself down the road feeling unable to turn back but no longer wanting to go forward. It is always easy to crash. Use the time you have. Even if it is short hopefully you will have even one experience that is good enough to make all the hard times worth it.
